Baby massage is a wonderful way to focus on bonding with your child in a calm and supportive environment.

Over the 4 weeks I will teach you a range of soothing techniques that can benefit your baby by helping to support their emotional and physical wellbeing. These are techniques you can use at home, and you get a weekly handbook to keep with details of all the moves.

We don’t use oil and babies don’t need to be undressed!

Note: Baby massage course is suitable for babies aged 6 weeks up to crawling.

Baby Reflexology course: 3 weeks

Baby Reflex uses specially adapted, very gentle Reflexology techniques which have been developed to be suitable for use on babies feet. It can promote sleep & relaxation, and create a sense of wellbeing as well as being a lovely chance to spend calm, quality time with your little one.

Over the 3 weeks course I will teach you a range of lovely gentle techniques, plus give you a parent handbook to take home each week, to help you feel empowered to use the techniques.

Week 1: Soothe and sleep

Week 2: Rest and digest

Week 3: Comfort and ease

Toddler Reflexology course: 2 weeks

A fun and engaging class designed to work with Toddlers energy. A range of adapted reflexology techniques for use on the hands, combined with classic nursery rhymes to help you soothe your Toddler and provide support with a range of issues.

Suitable from 1-4 (pre school). We would recommend ideally from 2 years old.

1st class online for parents & carers to learn techniques: £30 for 1 hour (Can be shared by upto 4 adults)

2nd class either online or in person:

  • Zoom: £30 1 hour (again can be shared by up to 4 adults total)

  • Toddler class at Shoreham centre: £12 per Adult & child

  • In person home visit, 1 hour: £60 (Up to 4 adults & kids)

Sanguine kids from The Sanguine Smith offers small welcoming classes in massage and Reflexology for babies & toddlers (and their grown ups) at the Shoreham centre. I know new classes can be a bit nerve wracking so I will do my best to put you both at ease. Classes are kept intentionally small with a maximum of 7 places, and we have a chatty cuppa before we start.

Why choose my classes? I’m Kath, a qualified Reflexologist of 9 years, Mum and experienced educator. I previously taught pattern cutting on a degree for 10+ years and love sharing knowledge and helping to inspire confidence with new skills.

Reflexology and massage are gentle complementary therapies that have been adapted for you to use at home with your child. They are never a substitute for medical advice and treatment.

I will sprinkle the classes with lovely self care practises for you, should you wish to join in!
